Ideas for Leftovers

Sometimes people want to use a little more creativity than building sandwiches with the leftovers. We usually just want to know that there are alternatives to sandwiches right before we make and eat the sandwiches, but that’s probably just us.

• Turkey enchiladas with salsa verde – hey, people make chicken enchiladas the same way
• Cranberry relish on ice-cream, waffles, or pancakes (only if you made it – the stuff that slithers out of a can wouldn’t work)
• Make a potpie or a cottage pie with the leftover turkey, dressing, and gravy
• If there are leftover mashed potatoes (never happened in our houses), heat them up with onions, garlic, cheese, garlic, and basil (add bacon for extra calories!)
• Pies and cakes – eat them before noon and they’re automatically breakfast food
