Storm Damage in Barrington, Illinois

SERVPRO of Barrington/North Schaumburg was call to mitigate storm water damage to a basement in Barrington, IL. The rain was so fast and heavy that the cusotmers sump pump while operating properly just could not keep up with the volume of rain. This basement flooded and had a large amount of contents that we water damaged and that required significant time to relocate to the garage and/or dispose just to get access to extract the water and set up dehumidification in the basement. We received the call at the end of a business day, we arrived on site within a few minutes of the call and then worked late into the night to get things stabilized.
