Winter has arrived - Be Prepared for Winter Storms
2/12/2021 (Permalink)
The Chicagoland area has had our fair share of snow and cold weather this year and as we head into the weekend the temperatures are going to get even lower. It is important to be prepared for winter storms and extreme freezing temperatures that can come with them.
Winter storms can also create a higher risk of hypothermia, frostbite, carbon monoxide poisoning, heart attacks from overexertion, and car accidents. Snowstorms, blizzards, freezing rain, ice, and high winds are all things that can knock out heat, power, and communication services. SERVPRO of Barrington / North Schaumburg is ready to respond quickly if you experience a storm damage emergency caused by winter weather.
